Mary Jane McKee, age 86, passed away December 19, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. Mary attended Murray School, Kittrell School and Draughn’s Business College. She was employed as a bus driver with Rutherford County Schools for over 35 years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Clifford and Minnie Jane Gum Hughes; husband, Harry Eugene McKee, Sr.; brothers, Arthur Hughes, Ray Turner Hughes; sisters, Gracie Emmaline Hughes; grandson, Joshua Harris; and son-in-law, Kirk Boyd. She is survived by her sons, Harry Eugene (Barbara) McKee, Charles Edwin (Cheryl) McKee, Kenneth Dwayne (Gina) McKee; daughters, Marsha Ann (Ricky) Love, Teresa Lou (Sam) Redmon, Jacqueline Paula Boyd, Anita Kay (Kenneth) West; sister, Ruby Odell Jackson; grandchildren, Olivia West, Stefanie Brewer, Melissa Harpe, Jacqueline Hanke, Ricky Love, Jr., Justin, Cameron and Kelsey McKee, Amber, Nick and Brittany McKee, Zach Smith, Michael Harris, Caden McKee, Jackson McKee, Tristan Love, Caylea, Courtney and Christopher Matthews and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Ray Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
