George Kenneth Adcock, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 93.
He was born and raised in Fosterville, TN to the late Estill and Mattie Wilkerson Adcock.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Thelma Lee Christian Adcock; who he met while they were both living in a church of Christ boarding house in Nashville. Thelma and Kenneth developed a special, lifelong bond with the other couples they met at the boarding house, Kenneth was still attending reunions in 2019.
During the Korean war, Kenneth served on the U.S.S Gherardi in the US Navy.
Kenneth was retired from McQuiddy Printing Company in Nashville where he worked as supervisor for 35 years.
Kenneth was a longtime member of Una church of Christ but was raised and baptized in the Fosterville church of Christ.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Benton Overall, Buddy Jordan, Shane Smith, Raymond Tucker, Jr., Tim Shaw, and Ken Rinehart.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery following visitation with Jeff Adcock officiating.
