Jonathon Paul Hickey, age 36, passed away on July 27, 2024.
He was born in Oklahoma City and a resident of Rutherford County.
He graduated from Smyrna High School and obtained a finance degree Cum Laude at MTSU. Jonathan worked as a financial advisor for LPL Financial. He enjoyed Oklahoma Sooners Football, softball, loved to hunt, fish and also known to pull a prank or two. He enjoyed life to the fullest and would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. Jonathon attended Experience Church.
Jonathon was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Frances Godfrey Rainwater, Charles Joel Hickey and Bobbie Jean Adams; uncle, Joel Hickey; and aunts, Shawn Godfrey and Theresa Hickey.
He is survived by his parents, Virgil Charles Hickey and Pamela Ann Godfrey Hickey; brother, Bubba Hickey and wife Ella; nieces and nephews, Makenzie Hickey and Ethan Hickey and Konnor Hickey and Nylah Hickey; God parents, Tim Cable and Linda Cable; beloved uncle, Raymond Godfrey of Oklahoma; numerous cousins; and his beloved dog, Lacy.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of memorial service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
