Jeffery Scott Adrian, Jeff’s Long Strange Trip:
“Dad, Son, Brother, Nemo, Fact Man, J. Ro, and most recently, Grandpa” — just a few of the many titles carried by the unforgettable Jeffery Scott Adrian. His sun rose on March 26, 1959, in Lake Forest, Illinois, and it set peacefully on September 2, 2025.
Jeff lived a life full of music, laughter, and friendship. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family. A lifelong music lover, he found joy in the Grateful Dead, concerts of all kinds, and spending quality time with his people. His heart was tied to the mountains of East Tennessee, the serenity of nature, and the salty air of the beach. Vacations and adventures with family and friends were some of his happiest moments.
Above all else, Jeff was a proud father to three children whom he loved so much. His circle of friends stretched far and wide, and the impact of his generosity, humor, and warmth will continue to ripple through countless lives. Jeff’s spirit was larger than life, and his memory will live on in the music he loved, the stories he shared, and the family and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
Jeff is survived by his three children, Blake Scott, Sasha Elizabeth, and Clark Sanders, from his marriage to Cathy Adrian; Blake’s wife, Grace, and their twins (Jeff’s grandkids!) Randall Scott and Quillina Josephine; mother Eleanor “Sue” Adrian; sisters Judy Camie and Jami Adrian; and countless nieces and nephews. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, John Adrian; brothers John “Jack” Adrian and James “Jim” Adrian.
Please come to celebrate Jeff’s life at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13th, from 4-8. We ask that you wear tie dye, or any bright color- exactly how Jeff would want to be honored! https://www.jenningsandayers.com
