James Willie Jones, age 75, passed away December 11, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and worked with Nashville Ready Mix of Murfreesboro.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Jones, Jr. and Allie Mae Evans Jones; wife, Helen Jones; brothers, Charles William Jones and CJ Jones. He is survived by his son, Jack K. Manus of Murfreesboro; daughters, Misty Jones of Murfreesboro, Ann Brew of Beech Grove, Theresa Brinkley of Murfreesboro, Kelly Stacy of Murfreesboro, Jamie Tucker of Smyrna, Joyce Jones of Murfreesboro; brothers, Bobby Jones, Donald Jones, John Paul Jones, Kenneth Jones, Jerry Jones, David Jones; sisters, Lucille Hurley, Bernice Jones, Brenda Kay Newkirk, Betty Martin, Linda Goodman, Carolyn Lynch; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 12:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers with Pastor Ralph Boyd officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
