Mr. Harvey J. Barrett passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, he was 78 years old.
He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and self-employed welder.
Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Mears Barrett; parents Malcolm and Mary Hall Barrett; children, Jeff Barrett, Karen Ferrell; and siblings, Eugene Barrett, William Barrett, Walter Barrett, Roger Dale Barrett, Jennie Lee Taylor, Sylvia Finch, Ann Shull.
He is survived by children, Shonda (Rick) Waldron, Jackie (Kevin) Manis, Teresa (Fred) Hollis, Patrick Scott and Chris Scott; siblings, Burton (Ann) Barrett, Mildred (Doug) Houston, David (Denise) Barrett; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, August 8, 2022 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Bill Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tennessee Veterans Home.
