Dorothy Keller Price, age 99, passed away at her residence December 13, 2018. She was born in Big Cane, LA and has lived in Rutherford County the past twenty years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Eva Brinkley Keller; husband, James Liberty Price; and siblings: Frances Vincent Dowden, Viola Dickerson, Charles Keller, and Clayton Keller. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Lillian Welch and son-in-law, Karl Welch; sister, Coleen Hardin and brother-in-law Curtis Hardin; grandchildren: Gary and Jessica Welch, Karleen and Jason Lindsey, Jessica Welch; and great-grandchildren: Spencer Welch, Monroe Welch, Hannah Lindsey, Sarah Lindsey, Bethany Lindsey, Josh Lindsey, Ben Mahaffey, Maggie Mahaffey, Jesse Mahaffey, and Joey Welch
A memorial service will be held 5:30P.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 at New Vision Baptist Church, 1750 North Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
A second service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20 in Bunkie, Louisiana at First Baptist Church, 203 South Lexington Avenue, Bunkie, LA 71322. Visitation will be held at Hixon-Ducote Funeral Home in Bunkie between 4 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 19.
