Mr. Dan Stephens of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, he was 91 years old.
A native of Cannon County, TN, he was the son of the late James and Carmine Cooper Stephens.
Mr. Stephens was also preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Stephens who died in 2010.
Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorene Rowland Stephens and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stephens was a member of the Salem Creek Church of Christ, a 1952 graduate of Auburn High School in Auburntown, TN, a US Army veteran where he served in Korea, and a retired salesman with Rone Jewelry on the Square.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery with Leland Baird, Bruce Baird, James Baird, Perry Baird, Kenneth Carter, and Ronnie Webb serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the service.
