It is with great sorrow that we announce that on November 11th, 2024, Clinton Neal Fulks Sr. passed away in the comfort of his home in La Vergne TN. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Clinton was born in Campton, KY on August 10th, 1958. He spent his childhood in Huachuca City, AZ, moving back to Beattyville, KY for high school. After graduating high school in 1977, he joined the United States Army that same year. He served as a helicopter mechanic until his honorable discharge in 1980.
After the Army, he returned to Beattyville, KY, where he worked in the oil fields of Eastern Kentucky. In 1982 he married, and in 1983 he moved his wife and first child to Tucson, AZ where they welcomed their second child. In 1990 he moved his family to La Vergne, TN where they welcomed their third child, and he lived out the rest of his life.
Clinton was a truck driver for 40 years. He began hauling lumber for a few years in the 80’s. In 1990 he started his 33-year career hauling and delivering cryogenics, accumulating over 2 million miles. He retired in 2023.
Clinton is survived by his three children: Chrissy (Andrew) Conley, Neal (Scottia) Fulks, and Megan (MacGyver) Mulcahy and their mother and former wife Zelma Smyth; his eight grandchildren: Ivan and Moses Conley, Timbre, Harmony, Benjamin, and Samuel Fulks, and Finnley and Elizabeth Mulcahy: Sister Pearlene Fulks, and Nephew Richard Weisner.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Trudy Fulks; Sister Joyce Weisner and Brother Dan Fulks
Clinton was always fun to be around. He loved music, playing guitar, and classic cars. He was so loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered.
