Betty Jean Davis Shelton, age 67, passed away July 23, 2026, at Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro, TN, following a two-year battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Morgan Bell and Catherine Davis and her sister Tina Davis McCrary.
She is survived by children; Christy (David) McCormick, son Daniel Shelton, and her grandchildren; Angela, Amanda, Johnny and Nathan; her brother Jackie (Bonnie) Davis, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
Our family would also like to acknowledge the nurses and doctors at Alive Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Betty during her hard fought battle with cancer. Our hearts are forever grateful.
Betty lived a quiet and private life and asked there be no public visitation or service.
She was loved and will be missed.
