It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Jane Collins, age 77 of Murfreesboro, TN on Friday, November 29, 2024.
A beloved wife to late husband, Earl Eugene Collins. She is survived by sons, Duane E. Collins (wife Angel), Robert E. Collins (wife Whitney); grandchildren, Carson Collins, Ty Collins, and Taylor Collins; as well as her sister, Carol Shanklin.
Barbara was a person who lived for her family. She was always there to support and give kind words when needed and never asked for much in return. Barbara was someone who would always speak her mind and was a strong, independent woman who grew up with little but gave big.
Barbara enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with grandchildren at sporting events and working on crossword puzzles. She also loved to shop for clothes and jewelry during her time, as fashion was something she always enjoyed.
Celebration of Life will be held at The Church at Nolensville, 7388 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135 on Friday December 13, 2024, between 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. with a short service to follow from 6:30 – 7 p.m. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
