Anne Christine Heppner, aged 73, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Murfreesboro, TN.

Born on February 18, 1951, Anne was renowned for her kind and generous spirit, her infectious happiness, and her ability to have fun. Anne graduated as valedictorian from her nursing class, dedicating her life to the healthcare profession as a Registered Nurse and later as a healthcare administrator before her retirement. Her commitment to caring for others extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests.

She loved playing blackjack, engaging with music, thrifting, and camping. She was also an avid board game enthusiast and a skilled handywoman, often fixing things around her home. Anne was a devoted fan of The Beatles, having had the memorable experience of seeing them live at Candlestick Park. Her culinary skills were a joy to her family, especially her special French pancakes and pasta salad, which were much loved by her children and grandchildren. She also relished family murder mystery dinners, always going all out for her character.

Anne is survived by a loving family: her brother, William White Jr. (Sharon); sons, Brett Heppner (Torri) and Zach Heppner (Whitney); daughter, Kelly Ward (Charles); and grandchildren, Addison, Holly, Taylor, Everett, Alice, and Samuel.

She was preceded in death by her brother Larry White, and her parents, Jean and William White.

The family is planning a private memorial to celebrate her life. Anne’s legacy of love, laughter, and service will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
