
Andrew Logan Benayce, age 22, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by mother, Amanda Hines; father, Ben Benayce; stepdad, Tom O’Malley; children, Penelope and Logan “Gene” Benayce; siblings, Brianna Allen and her husband, Tyler; Matthew O’Malley, and Abby O’Malley; grandmother, Melissa Bartley; grandfather, Tim Forsythe and wife, Lisa; great grandparents, Gary and Linda Hines; aunts, Jacklyn Davis and her husband, Keith; Teddi Verstraete and her husband, Tommy; Kelsey Johnson and her husband, Dustin; Ashley Karch and her husband, Richard; and uncles, Chris Hines and Gary Hines, Jr. And his wife, Heather.
He is preceded in death by Morris Eugene Hines, his great-great uncle who he adored and Cathy Styer, his grandmother who he loved.
Andrew was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was the best baby. He was so sweet and so smart. Andrew loved sports as a kid. Soccer, baseball, basketball, football, skateboarding, he loved it all. Andrew loved scary movies and haunted houses. He cherishes the memories he had with his mom at ScareFest. Andrew loved his family. He was a silly and protective big brother; he was always watching out for his younger siblings. He was a fun and proud little brother. He spent his childhood following Bri and her friends’ making memories. He was a COVID drive-through, Smyrna High School graduate.
Andrew was proud to be blue-collar, a true-hard worker. He loved riding in the car with good music on. Andrew loved music and books. From Tupac to Conway Twitty, Steven King to Jane Austen, he was well-rounded in his interests. Andrew was known for making people laugh. He was witty and charming, a ladies’ man. Andrew was an old soul with unlimited potential. If you knew him, you instantly loved him. Andrew was a proud dad of two beautiful babies, Gene and Penelope. He was always happiest when he was with them. Long live that cowboy.
