Jeron Rooks scored three touchdowns, leading undefeated Oakland to an easy 42-0 win over Lebanon in the first round of the TSSAA football playoffs on Friday.

Rooks carried 13 times for 117 yards and a score, and added two catches for 46 and a touchdown.

It was also a good night for the Patriots’ two quarterbacks. Timmy Goodrich ran five times for 41 yards and a score, and had a 37-yard catch. Brevin Linnell was 5-of-10 passing for 102 yards and three touchdowns, and added 15 rushing yards.

Justin Jefferson and Woodi Washington added touchdowns, and Mikhail Holman blocked a punt.

Oakland hosts Blackman, a 38-7 winner over Hendersonville, next. The Patriots beat the Blaze 42-21 on Sept. 22 of this season.

Oakland led 21-0 at half.
