From Rutherford County Schools
No weapons have been found at Riverdale High School and the school is not on lockdown Friday, Rutherford County Sheriff’s supervisors said.
Extra School Resource Officers were posted at the school as a precaution today after a Rutherford County Schools’ student allegedly posted a threat against the high school on social media Thursday.

The student was charged with two felony counts of making a false report. He is being held in Rutherford County Juvenile Detention.
SRO Capt. Brad Harrison said the investigation showed the student acted alone. There was no proof anyone else was involved.
