New Murder Warrant Issued for Second Suspect in Eagle Street Murder

Murfreesboro Police Detectives have obtained a murder warrant for a second suspect in the June 21, 2019, Eagle Street murder of Dalicori Saunders, 25.

Delarrious Dewayne Crawford, 29, is wanted for the shooting death of Saunders. Crawford is considered to be armed and dangerous. Early in the investigation, detectives developed Quandre Marquis Knowles, 22, as a suspect in the murder. An arrest warrant for 1st-degree murder is also active for Knowles.

On Friday, June 21 at approximately 11:29 p.m., Murfreesboro Police Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex located at 1400 Manor Street in reference to a disturbance between a group of people. Police were advised one of the individuals, who was reportedly intoxicated, had already left the area. Saunders was later found lying on the ground in the 1300 block of Eagle Street. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

A murder warrant has been issued for suspect Quandre Knowles, 22, of Murfreesboro.
