A 4-year-old male white rhinoceros arrived in early December from a conservation facility in Florida. After a mandatory quarantine, he will be slowly introduced to the Zoo’s rhinoceros habitat and, eventually, the Zoo’s four female rhinos.

A new Sumatran tiger exhibit is nearing completion and is scheduled to open March 8. Recently on a Facebook Live, the zoo introduced the three female tigers named Ace, Francis, and Huntley who are sisters that arrived in Nashville at the end of April. They explained the best time to see the tigers active is the first thing in the morning.
