The 2019 season for the Nashville Sounds begins Thursday, April 4 when they host the Iowa Cubs at 6:35 p.m. at First Tennessee Park. It’s the first official game as the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and the Sounds will sport their remastered uniforms.

“Opening Day is always a special day in baseball,” said Sounds General Manager Adam Nuse. “This year is unique for the Nashville Sounds with the official beginning of our relationship with the Texas Rangers. We’re excited for our fans to see the talented group of players and thrilled for the remastered design to finally be on full display”

The Sounds will keep the Throwback Thursday tradition going with discounted Budweiser and Pepsi products on Opening Day. Following the game fans will be treated to the first post-game fireworks show of the season.

The opening homestand continues Friday night as the Sounds and Cubs start the 2019 campaign with a five-game series.

Seniors and Military families can enjoy a $2.00 discount on single-game ticket prices at First Tennessee Park. The offer is valid for any reserved seat section on Sunday through Wednesday games and subject to availability. Offer valid for up to four (4) tickets per I.D.
