Nashville Armory Hosts Youth Safety Class

Looking for something different for the kiddos this summer? Have your kids learn firearm safety and the basic principles of shooting a handgun in a fun and safe environment? Nashville Armory is hosting a youth safety class called Pistols and Pizza on July 17th from 8a-2p. This is a no hassle day where our staff provides everything your child needs to have a safe and exciting day.

The class is a no hassle day where Nashville Armory staff provides everything your child needs to have a safe and exciting day. This 6 hour one day class covers firearm safety, handgun nomenclature, operation, and marksmanship fundamentals.

The class is limited to youth between the ages of 10 and 16. The class incorporates both instructional and hands-on learning in the classroom, followed by time on the range. Each participant is allowed to shoot a variety of .22 caliber handguns to practice the skills taught in the classroom. Handguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection will be furnished as part of the class. Parents will need to sign a liability waiver for themselves and the student, and are not allowed to attend with the child. Class will include a t-shirt, lunch of pepperoni and cheese pizzas soft drinks and chips.
