Murfreesboro Police are asking for assistance in locating a missing person. Howard Wayne Patton (dob 1-18-1946) was seen yesterday, April 8,2018 at Sal’s pizza in the N. Thompson Lane area, where employees called police due to his appearing disoriented. He was gone upon our officer’s arrival. MPD was contacted today by a friend of Mr. Patton’s for a welfare check on Mr. Patton due to his not answering his phone. Mr. Patton and his vehicle are missing from his home however his cell phone is inside the house.
He has dementia, a heart condition and is diabetic. It is believed he is not taking his medication, which has caused him to get lost in the past. He could be driving his white 2011 Mazda Tribute with TN tag 586-2CS.
