Murder Suspect Arrested In Jackson

In a statement from The Murfreesboro Police Department, MPD confirms the arrest of a suspect in the May 4th murder of Jessie Buford.

According to the statement:

As previously released, the Violent Crime Unit developed Lammoris Jones as a suspect in the homicide of Jessie Buford May 4^th. A warrant was taken out for Jones’ arrest and detectives began an extensive search to locate Jones in West Tennessee and Mississippi.  The Tennessee Highway Patrol located Jones traveling west of Jackson, TN., where a vehicle stop was conducted and Jones was taken into custody.  Jones was transported to the Madison County Jail, where he was subsequently booked on the 1^st Degree Murder warrant and interviewed by MPD Detectives.
