Middle Tennessee wraps up the 2016-17 regular-season campaign with a matchup against Florida Atlantic Saturday evening.

Middle Tennessee (19-9, 14-3) claims a 20-1 record in the series history against Florida Atlantic (4-24, 0-17), including an 87-69 victory on Jan. 21 in Murfreesboro.

The Lady Raiders secured the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in next week’s C-USA Championships with an 88-53 win at FIU Thursday night.

Alex Johnson eclipsed the 30-point mark for the fourth time this season with 32 against the Golden Panthers. The sophomore sits just 11 points away for a career 1,000.

The Owls welcome MT after a 78-75 setback against UAB Thursday night. Sasha Cedeno leads the Owl offense with 10.1 points per game, while reigned C-USA Freshman of the Week Katelyn O’Reilly adds 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per night.

Following Saturday’s tilt, the Lady Raiders will await the final league results to set the C-USA Championship bracket. MT’s first tournament game is set for Thursday in the second round against the winner of the 7-seed vs. 10-seed matchup.
