Welcome to 2016 Graduation Weekend , Blue Raider style. It all starts on Friday , with the Graduate Ceremony.
Time:
3 p.m. — Commencement ceremony for the College of Graduate Studies. This ceremony includes all master’s, education specialist and doctoral degree candidates.
Guest Speaker:
Dr. Carroll Van West, Tennessee State Historian and director of MTSU’s Center for Historic Preservation.
Location: Murphy Center, Monte Hale Arena.
Hale Arena is located inside the Charles M. Murphy Athletic Center on the northwest side of the MTSU campus.
Saturday: Two Undergraduate Ceremonies
Times:
- 9 a.m. — Commencement ceremony for students in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences, the Jennings A. Jones College of Business, the College of Education, and the College of Media and Entertainment.
- 2 p.m. — Commencement ceremony for students in the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, the College of Liberal Arts, and the University College.
Guest Speakers:
- 9 a.m. — The Honorable Megan Barry, mayor of Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County.
- 2 p.m. — Kary Antholis, president of HBO Miniseries and Cinemas Programming.
Location: Murphy Center, Monte Hale Arena.
