Middle Tennessee will face Georgia and Kentucky in football during the 2018 season as announced by Director of Athletics Chris Massaro on Wednesday.
“These are two games that will be very easy for our fans to attend,” said Massaro. “It’s always fun to measure ourselves against the SEC and this will be two more tremendous opportunities.”
The Blue Raiders will travel to Athens to face the Bulldogs on September 15 before heading to Lexington later in the season on November 17 to meet the Wildcats.
Middle Tennessee and Georgia will be meeting for just the second time. In 2003, the No. 8 Bulldogs defeated the Blue Raiders, 29-10, in Athens.
The Blue Raiders and the Wildcats will be battling for the third time in history. The teams met in 2002 and again in 2008 with UK winning both games in Lexington. In 2002, Kentucky won 44-22 in the third game of the season then downed MT in 2008, 20-14.
