MTCS moves on to face Friendship Christian (10-0) on the road next week.
The Cougars extended their lead to 30-13 on Berry’s 1-yard run in the third quarter.
Two McGowan touchdown runs helped MTCS to a 16-7, first-quarter lead.
McGowan scored a third first-half touchdown in the second quarter, helping the Cougars maintain a 22-14 advantage at the break.
