Middle Tennessee Christian’s Kemari McGowan scored a pair fo touchdowns, as the Cougars knocked off Grace Christian, 25-3, in a Friday evening road contest.
GCA hit a field goal to go up 3-0 in the first quarter. MTCS countered with Drew Berry’s touchdown run to go up three in the first quarter.
McGowan added a touchdown to make it 12-3 in the first quarter. He’d add a 73-yard score in the third quarter.
MTCS is now 2-0 on the heels of last week’s 26-7 win over Collinwood.
Grace Christian hosts Cornersville next Friday. MTCS travels to King’s Academy.
GCA falls to 0-2.
