Marcus Mariota has been named AFC Player of the Week for his efforts in the Tennessee Titans overtime victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.
Mariota completed 30 of 43 passes for 344 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner to Corey Davis near the end of overtime that gave Tennessee a 26-23 win over the defending Super Bowl champs.
Mariota also had a rushing touchdown in the game for the Titans, who improved to 3-1 on the season. Mariota ran 10 times for 46 yards and was the Titans leading rusher in the game as well.
This is the third time in Mariota’s career that he has been named the AFC’s top offensive player in a week.
