Smyrna police are warning motorists to steer clear of Lowry Street near Highland Heights Church after downed power lines forced the closure of all lanes in the area.
The disruption extends to the nearby railroad tracks, creating significant traffic delays.
Crews are on scene working to address the hazard and restore normal traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and expect delays until the area is cleared.
