Titans fans and concert-goers have another refreshment option at Nissan Stadium this season. Puckett’s Grocery’s food trolley can be found parked inside for all home football games and other events held at the stadium during the 2018-2019 season.
“Puckett’s food is great for fans who are looking for a taste of Nashville flavor in Nissan Stadium,” Sally Mink, Marketing Director for A. Marshall Hospitality, said. “It’s simple, tasty and traditionally Southern, and we enjoy serving locals and visitors alike from the Trolley.”
The Puckett’s Trolley, affectionately known as Miss Trolley Parton since it first opened in 2012, offers hungry sports and music fans a variety of the brick-and-mortar restaurant’s popular dishes, most featuring its famous slow-smoked pulled pork and brisket. Guests can order either meat on a sandwich with chips, or opt for brisket nachos with all the fixings. Piggy Mac — a decadent Puckett’s original, with smoked gouda mac and cheese topped with pulled pork — is also offered, in addition to plain mac and cheese or a smoked “hillbilly hotdog” with chips. The food truck plans to add a few more items later in the season as the weather gets cooler.
The bright red trolley is stationed in the North End Zone of Nissan Stadium for home football games and in the South End Zone for concerts and other events. The opportunity to sell concessions at the downtown stadium marks the fifth partnership of the like between Puckett’s and area sports teams. The Nashville Predators who play at Bridgestone Arena; Vanderbilt Stadium; Floyd Stadium at Middle Tennessee State University and Finley Stadium at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga have each inked deals with the restaurant to vend concessions at the teams’ home games.
Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant has five locations across middle Tennessee, including downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville, downtown Columbia, downtown Chattanooga, and downtown Murfreesboro.
