2. Toddler Tuesdays at Sam Davis Home

WHAT: Calling all MOPS! Bring your toddlers for a morning of learning through Creative Play.

Games, Crafts, Hikes, Experiments, Live Animals and so much more…will make this an event that you and your toddler do not want to miss. Toddler Tuesdays take place on the last Tuesday of every month from 10:00-11:00am (rain or shine). During nice weather, pack your lunch and plan to stay and enjoy the grounds after the program. $5 per toddler (or participating sibling), parent/guardians-Free.

3. 157th Anniversary Ranger Programs

 

WHAT: Join a ranger at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce visitor center (3050 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37129) as they use the outdoor map to explain the Stones River Campaign events that played out 157 years ago to the day. Hear a park ranger tell the story of a soldier or unit on the ground where they fought in the Battle of Stones River and follow a ranger in your car and stop at several key locations as you explore the places and people that make up the Battle of Stones River story.

4. Family New Year’s Eve at Lanes, Trains and Automobiles

WHAT: Lanes, Trains, and Automobiles is offering three New Year’s Eve family packages from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.: Bowling Bash; Bowling, Bumping, and More; and VIP Glow Bowl Pizza Buffet. The first package provides three hours of bowling, shoe rental, and party favors for up to six people for $70. For $100, up to six people can bowl, ride bumper cars, play Murf Wars, and enjoy New Year’s party favors. The VIP package includes all of the previous package, plus unlimited pizza and drinks. 5. Polar Bear Plunge

 

WHAT: Kick start your New Year by plunging into the Boro Beach pool at Sports*Com!
Entry fee: one non-perishable food item for Green House Ministries

Register in the gym at Sports*Com which will be transformed into an Arctic Adventure complete with games, inflatables and hot chocolate. At 10:00 a.m., plungers and spectators will make the cold trek outdoors to enjoy the refreshing frigid water. T-shirts to commemorate your questionable actions will be available for purchase on site at the event.
