The sacrifices our veterans have made for our country and their service has earned them our lasting gratitude. The City of La Vergne is building a wall honoring family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues who have served in the U.S. armed forces at Veterans Memorial Park.  “The wall is a permanent commemorative display that will be lined with bricks engraved with the names of honored men and women who have served our great country,” said Mayor Dennis Waldron.  Veterans and current military personnel are being honored in the city of La Vergne. The city has been accepting payments for 4×8 bricks to honor past and present military personnel, but now they can also be ordered online.

To order online, go to http://www.bricksrus.com/order/veteranswall

Who is eligible to be honored? Anyone who has served honorably in the armed forces or is currently on active duty. The cost of a brick is $25.00 and you may select up to four lines, with 21 characters per line. Note that spaces and symbols are considered as a character. Engraving will be done in all capital letters and will be centered.
