Rutherford County School
Four eighth-grade students from LaVergne Middle School were accepted and have received fully-funded scholarships to attend a weeklong STEM Camp hosted at the United States Naval Academy this June.
The students will experience 12 different academic STEM modules, while attending the camp in Annapolis, Maryland.
Over 5,100 applicants applied for 840 slots. Attendees will be from all 50 states, U.S. territories and overseas countries.The scholarship includes flight, housing and meals.
