Here are our top five Rutherford County Players of the Week for their Week 4 showing.
Timmy Goodrich, quarterback, Oakland
How’s this for passing efficiency? Goodrich threw just five passes, but he completed them all, and four went for touchdowns. Goodrich played just the first half of Oakland’s 70-6 rout of RePublic and threw for 157 yards.
Kemari McGowan running back, Middle Tennessee Christian
MTCS’s McGowan has become a regular on this list. On Friday, he ran seven times for 168 yards and three scores, as Middle Tennessee Christian went to Knoxville and got a 50-8 win over Concord Christian.
Connor Mitchell, quarterback, Blackman
Mitchell was hyper-efficient as well, completing 14-of-17 throws for 181 yards in Blackman’s 42-10 rout of Smyrna last Friday. Mitchell added 50 yards rushing as the Blaze (4-0) stayed undefeated.
Savion Davis, running back, Riverdale
Davis’s 28-carry, 274-yard, four-touchdown performance in a 49-24 win over Spring Hill was just another in a series of big performances for the Warrior running back. Riverdale remains unbeaten heading into Friday’s huge showdown with Oakland.
Lelan Wilhoite, running back, Siegel
The Siegel star has been almost a one-man show at times this season. On Friday, he ran 17 times for 281 yards and three scores and added an 89-yard punt return for another touchdown. Siegel whipped Antioch, 43-6, improving to 2-2.
