La Vergne has launched its annual holiday donation drive to collect food, toys, and financial contributions in the weeks leading up to the city’s Thanksgiving Drive-Thru and Last Minute Toy Store. The initiative aims to make the season brighter for local families who may be struggling this year.
The food drive runs through November 19, while the toy drive continues through December 5. Donations can be dropped off at the Police Department, Public Works, Library, and Fire Station #41. Online wish lists are also available for those who prefer to give from home.

La Vergne will host its Thanksgiving Drive-Thru on November 21, offering registered residents holiday meal packages on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Register Online Oct. 20 – Nov. 17. The link is only valid during the registration period.
- One registration form per household.
- Proof of La Vergne residency (such as a utility bill) and a valid ID are required at the event.
The Last Minute Toy Store will take place December 14, providing toys and gifts for children in La Vergne. Applications will be accepted November 17–December 8.

- Proof of guardianship.
