Hattie Jane’s Creamery’s summer fundraiser just got a little sweeter: following a successful day of giving back last month, the ice cream shop will reserve a portion of both of its stores’ proceeds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury and Rutherford Counties three more times, with the next campaign scheduled for this Thursday, June 29.
The creamery, whose desire to support local Boys & Girls Club organizations is rooted in owner Andy Marshall’s history with the nonprofit as an adolescent, has locations in Columbia, Tenn. and Murfreesboro, Tenn. Hattie Jane’s will donate the grand total from its four fundraising days held from May to August to its locations’ respective Clubs in the fall.
Along with a core menu of small-batch, homemade ice creams at both locations, each creamery features its own creative and seasonal flavors, like Honey Almond and Golden Milk Sorbet in Murfreesboro and Roasted Peach Cobbler in Columbia. While each location is uniquely its own, they are joining forces once again to contribute to the Boys & Girls Clubs in their communities.

About Hattie Jane’s Creamery
First opened in summer 2016 in downtown Columbia, Tenn., Hattie Jane’s Creamery takes A. Marshall Family Foods. Inc.’s knack for creating an authentic Southern cooking experience for its patrons and invites them to stick around after dinner for a scoop or two of ice cream. By partnering with local farms and producing the inspired ice cream on-site, the creamery offers a true homemade, unique experience that is signature to the A. Marshall brand. The creamery’s second location opened in downtown Murfreesboro next door to the Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in March 2017. To learn more, visit facebook.com/HattieJanesCreamery.
