With the baseball season right around the corner, 2017 Blue Raider season tickets and tickets to the Groundhog Day Luncheon are now on available for purchase.
Director of Ticket Operations, James Kentfield announced that season ticket renewals are now available, along with family ticket packages.
“We very excited to roll out Blue Raider baseball season tickets before the holidays. If you are looking for a last minute Christmas gift for the sports fan in your life, it’s hard to beat a Bleacher Season Family Pass for only $65 that allows four fans to attend every game. With a face value of $680 – it is the absolute best deal in collegiate baseball,” said Kentfield.
2017 Season Ticket prices are as follows:
Bleacher Family Pass – $65 – (allows up to four people at each game) **BEST VALUE
Bleacher Single Pass – $50
Chair back Reserved Ticket – (section 101-106 w/ min. $500 BRAA donation) – $50
Chair back Reserved Ticket – (section 203 w/ min. $150 BRAA donation) – $50
Single game tickets are $6 each with the exception of the Tennessee (March 14) and Vanderbilt (April 18) games, which are $10 each.
The Blue Raiders will host 27 home games, beginning with the annual Mule Mix (Feb. 24-26) against Northwestern, Bowling Green and Missouri State. Head Coach Jim McGuire is ready for the 2017 campaign to get underway.
“We have a great home slate of games this season, I can’t wait to get the season started and see all of our fans at Reese Smith Jr. Field,” said McGuire.
The 44th Groundhog Day Luncheon will be held on Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
Coach McGuire and the Middle Tennessee baseball team will host the event to lead off the 2017 baseball campaign. The popular luncheon will feature the traditional menu of ham hocks, white beans, tomato salad, green onions, corn bread, chocolate cake and ice cream.
“I’m excited for the Groundhog Day Luncheon, it’s our first event to leadoff the 2017 season,” said McGuire. “It’s always a great time for our MT baseball community.”
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Additionally, a table of 10 can be reserved for $250. Reservations can be made by calling the Blue Raider ticket office at (615) 898-5261. The deadline to pre-order tickets is Feb. 1.
