Game Terminal Super Arcade and Bar, a 10,000 square foot entertainment complex featuring more than 300 vintage and new arcade games and pinball machines, is set to open in South Nashville this fall at 201 Terminal Court.

At the vivid and immersive, first-of-its-kind space, visitors can choose from a mix of classic, rare and hard-to-find games, as well as new releases. Classic games such as Defender, Tales of Arabian Knights, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pacman and Galaga will take place alongside popular, recent releases such as Jurassic Park, Willy Wonka and Black Knight pinballs. Guests will be able to enjoy craft cocktails, local beers and upscale bar food via waiter service on breaks from gaming, either in the plush, indoor lounge or at picnic-style tables in the outdoor entertainment area. Game enthusiasts can also belly up to the bar and watch through a window as pinball machines are sold and being worked on in the onsite pinball dealership, Music City Pinball.

“Game Terminal will have something for everyone, with one of the largest selections of museum-quality gaming opportunities under one roof in the United States,” said owner Patrick McKennon. “Whether you are a seasoned “pinhead” or someone new to the pinball and arcade world, we want all to be able to come and enjoy a bit of nostalgia, in an immersive space, that’s full of a variety of opportunities to eat, drink, play and spend quality time with friends and family.”

The space was designed with events in mind, a private gate adjacent to the business, leads to a lushly landscaped garden with a fountain, an outdoor ping pong table and a fire pit area with high-end outdoor furnishings. The 4,000 square foot onsite basketball court is reserved for VIP guests, perfect for impromptu games or convertible to host a seated affair for 250 people or 400 standing. A second-level conference room with kitchenette, A/V capabilities and private pinball games, is useful for those in need of inventive meeting space. Two VIP rooms, on the main floor, are the ideal space to host a bachelor or birthday party for up to 50 guests. The entire four-acre outdoor area is available to reserve for festival and musical events, and the indoor gaming area can be bought-out for large gatherings.

Local, acclaimed architecture and design studio, DAAD, is handling the reuse of the building, an old ‘60s era truck terminal. Bold racing-inspired stripes cover the exterior of the building, while interiors will feature modern chrome and bronze finishings and artwork and graffiti by local artists. McKennon hopes the large imprint of Game Terminal will help to revitalize the surrounding “Terminal South” area and bring in other local retail and artisan spaces.

Game Terminal Arcade and Bar was born from owner and collector, Patrick McKennon’s, longtime love for arcade and pinball games, and the desire to share his dream space with the public. A native Nashvillian and life-long entrepreneur, McKennon founded Music City Pinball in October 2017, a dealership and showroom where customers can test and purchase their favorite machines, which will be incorporated onsite at Game Terminal.
