This squad features 28 seniors who will definitely have to step up if they don’t want a repeat of last year. The team had a tremendous offseason, working hard and bonding together, unlike previous teams that coach Wyant has been a part of. This Siegel Stars team can be described in one word: Hungry. Hungry to play, hungry to hit, hungry to take the field, and hungry to win.
Key Players
Sigel features two strong leaders on either side of the ball. Brendan Crowell (QB) and Rodney Murray (RB) will hold down the skill side of the offense, while Maxwell Iyama leads the O-Line. Iyama (OL) currently has offers on the table from Illinois State as well as Austin Peay and will be looking to expand upon his current interest this Fall. On defense, previously mentioned defensive-end, Joseph Anderson, currently holds offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Clemson. There is no doubt that Anderson (DE) will be using this season to show everyone what the hype is all about.
