Families can cool off one last time this summer during Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department’s final Splash Out event of the season on Thursday, July 23, at Barfield Crescent Park.
The free event will take place from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department in partnership with Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation.
Children and families can enjoy an afternoon of water fun as firefighters bring out a fire truck and create giant sprays of water for attendees to play in.
Organizers encourage participants to wear clothes that can get wet and bring towels, sunscreen, and water shoes if needed.
The event is free and open to families looking for a fun way to beat the summer heat while meeting local firefighters.
