Michael Martin Murphey presents “Austinology - Alleys of Austin,” the new album that celebrates great songs from the 70’s Austin music scene and includes fresh recordings of Murphey’s biggest hits. The album features Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Amy Grant, The Last Bandoleros, Steve Earle, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robison, Jerry Jeff Walker, Randy Rogers... the list goes on. The evening will be hosted by Franklin’s own Rodeo and Juliet. A multiple Grammy nominee with 3 Gold and Platinum Albums and dozens of chart-topping hits, Murphey’s career has spanned four decades in country, rock, pop, folk, western and cowboy music. As a singer, songwriter, producer, his music has been recorded by Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Cher, Lyle Lovett, Flatt and Scruggs, Hoyt Axton, Roger Miller, Bobbie Gentry, and the Monkees.
