If you’ve ever purchased instrument and microphone cables from a store you know how expensive they can be, especially if you want to buy good quality ones. You can spend a fortune buying them - OR - you can learn how to make your own for a fraction of the cost. Students will learn how to solder. Students will learn the correct way to wire instrument and microphone cables. Students will learn what to look for in quality components and where to source them from. Audience & knowledge prerequisites: Some experience with soldering would be helpful, but it is not required. Students should bring: Their own soldering iron, if they would like to use their own. (We have plenty of basic soldering irons available at Make Nashville.) Helping Hands, if they have a pair. (We have some, but if you have them, please bring them.)  You may select the ticket option to not purchase a kit from Make Nashville. If you do this, you MUST bring the following supplies with you.
