Dustin Herring was born and raised in a small town called Hartford Alabama. He started playing guitar and singing songs while in college. He then moved to the Mississippi Delta where immersed himself in performing and songwriting. In 2012 Herring was named the winner of the Texaco Country Showdown songwriter competition. Dustin now lives in Nashville and has been here since the summer of 2014. In the short time, he has already released two EPs the most recent entitled Geneva County. He has had several of his songs recorded by independent artists. His songs have been played on radio throughout the Southeast including Oklahoma and Texas. Dustin is a familiar face in town and can be found almost nightly playing writers showcases. Production is now complete for his first full length, 10 track album, entitled “the High I Crave”.
