Named “Male Entertainer of the Year” at the 2017 Independent Josie Music Awards, Nashville’s Cort Carpenter has been capturing the hearts of music lovers around the world. Country fans are always looking for music that they can relate to and Cort is highly conscious of that when creating music of his own. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, he brings a unique quality to the country music scene with a strong yet heartfelt voice that sets him apart in the genre. “Let Me See Your Koozie” from 2015 is Cort’s most widely-known song and has become a go-to party anthem for fans, many of whom have been hash-tagging the song title on social media. “What Were We Drinking,” a song from his 2016 EP, has a music video that’s accumulated over 1.3 million views on YouTube. He released his first official radio single “Wrong Kinda Right” in 2017. “Again” was his first radio single release of 2018 which was followed by his newest single “Holy Ground.” It’s a relatable song about the connection you feel to your hometown (or any place that’s sacred to you) and it has received positive feedback from fans and industry people alike.
