WMOT presents the inaugural 895 Fest, May 31- June 1 at Hop Springs Beer Park. This two-day music festival celebrates WMOT's 50 years on the radio in Murfreesboro and middle Tennessee. WMOT is a public radio music station playing Americana music at 89.5 FM in Middle Tennessee and streaming at WMOT.org, on the Roots Radio app and TuneIn. Artists include: Rodney Crowell, Delbert McClinton, Lee Roy Parnell, The War and Treaty, Molly Tuttle, McCrary Sisters, Mike Farris, Robbie Fulks, Lillie Mae, Rev. Sekou, Cordovas, Steve Poltz, Mandy Barnett, Sarah Potenza, Liz Brasher, Jason Ringenberg, Pat Byrne, and Peterson Brothers. Get tickets at WMOT.org! Presented by WMOT with support from Subaru, the festival will start at happy hour on Friday, May 31st, with live music from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Performances will continue on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.  The recently opened Hop Springs Beer Park will host the event. Home to Steel Barrel brewery, Tennessee’s largest craft beer brewer, the privately-owned venue. The 80-acre park offers ample space to enjoy the outdoors, and during the festival will include a Hospitality Village featuring food, crafts, and other items from local businesses for purchase.
