Eagleville’s Ethan Cobb passed for one touchdown and ran for another, but the Eagles fell 26-21 to Columbia Academy anyway on Friday evening.
Cobb carried 15 times for 49 yards, and added 114 yards in the air on 8-of-14 attempts.
Eagleville receiver Graham Hatcher caught three balls for 41 yards and a score, while running back Antonio Turrentine (eight carries, 17 yards) added Eagleville’s other rushing touchdown.
Kwon Park had another big night for Eagleville, leading the team with 13 tackles. Drew Smith and Josh Wallman had six tackles each for the Eagles, and Chavlier Sutton had five.
Eagleville (6-2) led 14-7 at the end of the first quarter, with Cobb’s running score accounting for one of those touchdowns.
But Columbia Academy scored the next 12 points before halftime, taking a 19-14 lead.
Eagleville travels to Loretto next Friday.
