The Eagleville Fire Department has been named a 2025 grant recipient by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation®, receiving $26,061 to enhance its emergency response capabilities. The grant will be used to purchase a spreader, ram and additional extrication accessories. These tools are crucial for saving lives as they allow first responders to quickly and efficiently remove trapped victims after motor vehicle accidents and structural collapses.

To commemorate this significant grant, members of the Eagleville Fire Department, local Firehouse Subs® franchisee Mark Watson and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation hosted a celebratory event and check presentation on Thursday, January 30.

“We sincerely thank the Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs for their generous support,” said Jonathan Armstrong, Fire Chief, Eagleville Fire Department. “These tools will greatly enhance our rescue operations, enabling our firefighters to handle complex situations like car accidents or structural collapses involving trapped victims.”

Charitable donations have been the driving force behind Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation supporting first responders nationwide. This grant is one of more than 120 awards valued at $2.8 million given to public safety organizations across the U.S., providing critical lifesaving equipment. Since 2005, the foundation has supported first responders with 6,745 grants valued at more than $92 million.
