According to the Murfreesboro Police Facebook Site:

Parents and caregivers: Check your child’s carseat. If you need assistance you can contact our department or stop by the closest Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Station to get you child’s seat inspected by a trained Child Passenger Safety Tech.

This was posted in response to a recent re-call of Evenflo’s 3-in-1 Car Seat. According to Evenflo:

“Through our regular review of consumer feedback on our products, we have identified a potential safety concern with our Transitions 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seat that we want to share with you. Please be aware that this issue does not affect the structural integrity of the Transitions seat in a crash and no injuries have occurred in connection with this issue. The three model numbers above, manufactured before January 29, 2016, are affected by this recall.

The Transitions seat is called a 3-in-1 Combination Booster seat because it provides three modes of use:

  1. Child SeatForward-facing harnessed booster (for children 22-65 lbs. and 28-50 inches tall);
  2. High-back belt-positioning booster (children 40-120 lbs. and 43.3-57 inches tall); and
  3. No-back belt-positioning booster (children 40-120 lbs. and 43.3-57 inches tall) “
