The 4th annual Downtown on the Farm, presented by Locally Owned Murfreesboro, is set for Sunday, Sept. 19 at Oaklands Mansion.

This farm-to-table fundraising dinner features items sourced from local farms that will be transformed into a culinary adventure by local chefs. The evening will start at 4:30 p.m. with signature cocktail featuring Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey. Dinner will follow promptly at 5:30 p.m.

The meal will be prepared by some of Murfreesboro’s finest culinary minds: The Butchareon family from Bangkok Thai Cuisine, Shawn & Christy Hackinson from The Alley on Main, Chantell Kennedy-Shehan and Matthew Joseph from Simply Pure Sweets, and Mitchell Murphree from Five Senses and Steakhouse Five. Slick Pig will provide the main course of pulled pork. Franklin’s Fruit Tea will be returning for their second year to serve up their delicious fruit tea and Panther Creek Brews will provide beer.

This year’s event will take place at the beautiful Oaklands Mansion. The organizing committee has taken the public health into consideration and made adjustments to this year’s annual farm-to-table fundraising dinner. Meals will be served in boxes and attendees can either choose to dine on the grounds or take it home.

Early bird tickets are on sale at $75 for a single ticket or $125 for two. After Sept. 5, the prices will go up to $100 and $150 respectively.

Tickets include dinner and two drink tickets to enjoy our signature cocktails. Every ticket holder will also receive a commemorative, handmade cup made by a Tennessee-based potter.

Sponsorships are available. To sponsor Downtown on the Farm and help a student attend college, contact Locally Owned Murfreesboro at [email protected].
