Pups in the Pool

Where: Splash Town
Smyrna Parks & Rec is hosting their annual Pups in the Pool, an annual fundraising event for Bark Springs Park. Cost is $10 per dog.

Thompson’s Station Dog & Pony Show
When: Saturday, September 29, 2018 9am to 4pm
Where: Sarah Benson Park, 1513 Thompson’s Station Rd W, Thompson’s Station
Thompson’s Station’s premier annual event “The Dog & Pony Show” returns to Sarah Benson Park on Saturday, September 29th, 2018.
This free, all-day family festival includes live music, a kids zone of activities and games, dog arena, equine attractions, artisan booths, food vendors and more! Specifically for the dogs is a costume contest, best trick contest and pet/owner look a like contest!
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Thompson’s Station Community Association (TSCA), which funds parks and community projects.

2018 Dog Day Festival
When: September 15 from 10am to 4pm
Where: Centennial Park, Nashville, 2500 West End Ave, Nashville
Join thousands of Nashvillians and their furry companions for a day jam packed with four-legged fun on September 15 from 10 am to 4 pm. Bring your pooches and participate in activities such as a costume contest, pupper parade, training classes, demonstrations, contests and pet portraits, or enjoy the children’s area and various demonstrations. There will be food trucks, door prizes, fun zones, live entertainment/music and so much more! Dog Day Festival, Nashville’s longest running dog festival, is a celebration of everything pup and all proceeds go to benefit the Nashville Humane Association. Sports Com’s Puppy Plunge in Murfreesboro, TN
When: Sat. Sept. 22 from 10am-1pm
Where: Sports Com’s “Boro Beach” outdoor pool, 2310 Memorial Blvd, Murfreesboro
Back by popular demand, Sports Com’s Puppy Plunge invites dogs of all ages to take a dip in the outdoor pool before it closes for winter. (This event is hosted by Sports Com and is not affiliated with Safari Pet Resort, which attends as a vendor.) Safari Pet Resort will be there with fun treats & exciting prizes! Only dogs will be allowed in the pool. Current vaccinations required. Spayed & neutered pets preferred.

Pawpalooza Pet Festival in Gallatin
Where: Pavilion at Triple Creek Park, 1333 Touchdown Drive, Gallatin
Come join the fun! Oct. 20th, 2018 at the Pavilion at Triple Creek Park in Gallatin, TN. Register and bring your pet! All proceeds will go to improve the Bark Park at Triple Creek Park. Cost is $30 pre-registration fun walk plus $10 per additional pet, $35 event day. Registration comes with goody bag, T-shirt and pet bandanna.

Nashville Pittie’s PittieFest 2018
Where: Centennial Park, 2500 West End Ave, Nashville
A festival for pups and their people! There will be a wide range of stores, causes, rescues, and pop-ups. Also there will be a variety of food trucks, live music, training demos, and a 100 ft x 100 ft Lure Course for the pups! Pet Community Center’s Mobile Wellness Clinic will be on site offering low-cost microchips, vaccinations, and heartworm tests the entire day! There will be door prizes, giveaways, activities for the pups and kids, fun contests, a photo booth, and much, much more.

Wags N Waves at Nashville Shores

Where: Nashville Shores, 4001 Bell Rd, Hermitage
Does your pup like playing in the water? Ever wanted to bring your dog to Nashville Shores? This is your chance! Nashville Shores and New Leash on Life have partnered for an event called Wags N Waves. The wave pool will be open for your dog to swim, run and play to their heart’s content. Tickets are $15 each now and will be $20 each the day of the event.
