The Middle Tennessee Blue Raider Athletic Association is joining United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties to collect items for Back to School kits for kids Pre-K through fifth grade.
This year, the United Way is looking to increase corporate and community collection sites to reach its goal of 5,000 “Stuff The Bus” Back to School kits. Focusing on one of the United Way’s priority community issues, helping children and youth succeed, the kits contain resources that students need to encourage school readiness.
Please help them by collecting the following items needed for the “Stuff the Bus” kits:
- Crayons (24 count Crayola)
- Scissors (Fiskar)
- Composition or Spiral Notebooks with wide-ruled paper
- Glue Sticks (Elmer’s)
- Folders with Pockets and Prongs
- Container for supplies
- 1″ 3 Ring Binder
- Expo Markers (dry erase)
The collection will end on July 18. Let’s see how many kids we can help support! Please drop the items off to the Blue Raider Athletic Association Office, located in the Murphy Center at MTSU.
